Velours Live
Privacy
Last updated 3 November 2026
The short version: this website sets no cookies and does not track you. If you write to us, we use your message only to reply, and we never sell it.
Who we are
This notice explains how Velours Live handles personal information when you visit www.velourslive.com or write to us. We decide how that information is used, which makes us responsible for it.
To ask a question or use any of your rights, write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you visit
The website is hosted by Vercel and its domain is managed by Cloudflare. To deliver each page and keep the site secure, their servers receive the technical details every website receives: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for, the time of your visit and the page that sent you here.
No cookies or tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. That is why there is nothing to accept.
When you write to us
We receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal information. We do not need it.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- read and reply to your correspondence;
- keep the website working and protect it from abuse;
- keep the records the law requires.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Our legal basis
Where laws such as the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interests in replying to correspondence and keeping the site secure, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records. Elsewhere, including in the United Arab Emirates, we handle personal information in line with the data protection laws that apply.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent personal information, and never share it for anyone's marketing. We share it only with:
- the providers who run our website and email, such as Vercel and Cloudflare, who process it on our instructions;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when they need it to advise us;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
International transfers
Our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where information about people in the UK or the European Economic Area is transferred, it is protected by safeguards the law recognises, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Correspondence: up to two years after our last exchange, unless it leads to an ongoing relationship or the law requires longer. Then we delete it.
- Technical information about visits: kept by our hosting providers for a short time, for security and troubleshooting.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit, and only the people who need it can see it. The providers we use are bound by contract to protect what they process for us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it, or stop using it;
- send it to you, or to another organisation, in a common format.
To do any of these, write to [email protected]. It is free, we will reply within a month, and we may first ask you to confirm who you are. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
